The Community Development Department is charged with developing and implementing the City’s General Plan. Among its functions is the facilitation of programs and activities that are designed to enhance business retention and attraction efforts, and provide business resources assistance for existing and potential businesses. The Community Development Department also encompasses Planning, Neighborhood Improvement, and Building and Safety.
